Rehabilitation
Ripley Crossing is fully staffed with a team of state licensed and board certified physical and occupational therapists, as well as speech language pathologists who provide a unique and individual experience for each patient. Each patient is evaluated and an individualized program is recommended for recovery. The prescribed therapy is approved by the patient’s physician and adjustments are made based on the rate and extent of the patient’s recovery. Through careful evaluation and open communication, we assist the patient to achieve a safe transition to independence.

Extended Hours; Separate Entrance; Convenient Parking
Private suite with local phone and flat screen included.
Our Progressive Rehabilitative Care
In addition, Ripley Crossing also offers state-of-the-art therapy equipment unique to Southeastern IN. The equipment aids those who have experienced illness or injury in both our inpatient and outpatient programs. Some of the equipment includes:
• A specialized treadmill with extended handles and a heart monitor
• A recumbent stepper which enhances gait and cardiac training
• A recumbent bike for strength and endurance tarining
• Paraffin Wax to ease arthritis and contractures
• An ultrasound machine for pain management and to promote the healing process
• A short-wave diathermy machine to provide deep-heating for pain management, increase joint range motion, and reduce swelling/bruising from injury
• Electrical Stimulation for patterned hemiplegia and strengthening
• Specialized patterned e-stim machine for use in stroke rehabilitation and general strengthening
